Care And Maintenance

Care and Maintainance of Cabinets

The finish used on your cabinets is of the highest quality and was chosen for both aesthetics and durability. As with any product, however, a little care will help to prolong the life and beauty of your cabinets and ensure many years of enjoyment. Very little maintenance is required other than periodic cleaning with a rag dampened with mild detergent and warm water; in many cases simply a water dampened cloth will be sufficient. For more difficult stains, please contact us for additional advice; but under no circumstances use any harsh cleaning agents such as bleach or ammonia, also use no abrasive cleaners (Comet etc.).

In addition to the above information, certain decorative finishes such as Crackle and some heavy glazes will detract somewhat from the overall durability of the finish. This is merely a result of the components or quantities used to achieve the look you desire, and extra care should be taken with these finishes.
